
He is chairman of many Sharia Opinion and Control Panels at financial institutions in the State of Kuwait, and was chairman of the Kuwait Finance House , the first Islamic banking institute in Kuwait, from the date of its establishment until 1993. Mr. Ahmed Al-Yaseen has a wide commercial, investment and banking experience, dating back to the year 1942.
He held many leadership positions in a number of commercial enterprises, and is an economic expert at the Islamic Jurisprudence Conference. He also held key positions at a number of local and international charitable bodies and committees. Mr. Al-Yaseen received his education in Kuwait, and studied with many sheiks and imams of our time. However, his most precious knowledge is the one he received from Sheikh Dr. Bader Al-Mutwalli Abdul Baset, with whom he studied for 15 years. This gave him a huge amount of knowledge ion this area and enabled him to combined economic experience with religious knowledge.
